Okay...I wasn't there, but I'm sure there are
many great reunion stories. How about
sharing them with everyone else?
Send me an email so I can post your story
in the next newsletter, tell everyone what a
great time you had or how you were so
happy to see that special friend that you
hadn't seen since High School.

| Who Know's What This Is? |

Here's a picture I stumbled across on the
Internet. Who
remembers this?

Lewis)
Hint: The building that housed this
magnificient fixture opened in 1927 and
closed in 1995. It has since been
demolished - what a shame...lots of
childhood memories there! We probably
all spent many Saturday afternoons in this
place. I remember looking up at this and
hoping it wouldn't come crashing down on
me!
Let's see how sharp your memories are.
Email me and tell me what Danbury
building this used to be in.

| Need Your Help to Support Our Website & Newsletter |
 |
|
It takes time and money to maintain our
website and publish this newsletter. Time I
have...money, not so much! Please
consider making a donation to help fund
this project.
Remember, I
do not get paid for doing this newsletter
or maintaining the DHS Class of 1967
website,
it
is funded solely by your donations and
income
from
advertisers. So go ahead and click on the
ads...you
just might find something that you like and
a
portion
of ad income helps to keep this newsletter
and
our
website running!
If you would like to make a donation you
can
mail a
check or money order to:
Mike Marinaro
302 North Main Street
Wendell, NC 27591
Every little bit helps, and it is greatly
appreciated. You may also make a
donation via PayPal using your credit card
by clicking on donate button below.
Just to give you an idea, here are some
numbers. I started the website in Jan.
2004. There have been an average of
$100 per year donations so far. Ads on
website and in newsletter have brought in
$25 per year. Here are
the expenses involved..
Web hosting fees, domain name,
newsletter opt-in list and message board
comes to $400.00 per year alone. That's
not counting software updates, computer
hardware maintenance and time spent
working on the website and newsletter.
You do the math...the expenses are much
more than the income. Please help! A
special thanks goes out to all of you who
have made donations, it's really
appreciated.
