| 40th Reunion for Class of 1966 |
 |
|
 Many of us were friends
with members of the previous class. Their 40th
reunion will be held
on Saturday, September 16, 2006 from 5PM to 12PM
at Capellaro’s Grove in their Three Oaks Banquet
Facility, 42 Vail Road in Bethel, Ct. The current
thinking is that the dress for Sat. evening will
be "business casual". Also, there will be a picnic on
Sunday, September 17, on Lake Candlewood. So save
both dates!
Visit their brand new Official Website for the DHS
Class of 1966 for more information. By the way, if you
know someone from The Class of 1966 who is not
listed on their website...please contact them or send
information to: info@dhs1966.org.

| Where In The World Is _______? |
 |
|
Don't let The Class of 1966 show us up! We
still have a whole bunch of missing
classmates. If you know how to contact someone
from our class, please get in touch with them and tell
them about our reunion and our website.
So far we have 146 e-mail addresses on the website,
that leaves a whole bunch of people unaccounted for!
When I sent the last newsletter out 34 of the e-
mail addresses I had bounced! That means our total
is down to 112 compared to 158 on The Class of
1966 site. If you have changed
your e-mail address lately or see someone's listed
incorrectly on our website site, please send me an
update. cmmdtp@gmail.com

| A Plea for Help |
 |
|
I started The DHS Class of 1967 website over 2 years
ago as a labor of love. It soon turned into a really
huge project and has become very high
maintainence. I don't mind the work, I enjoy doing
it; however, it does put a strain on my finances!
There are monthly webhosting fees to be paid and
domain name registration costs as well as software
and hardware updates needed to maintain the
website and keep it running. A few people have
made donations and I thank those people for their
help. The donations received so far have enabled me
to register the domain name all the way through the
year 2010. Every little bit helps. Please consider
making a donation to help keep this website running.
You can mail a check or money order to: Mike
Marinaro 302 North Main Street Wendell, NC
27591 You can also donate online via PayPal or
with your credit card from the home page of our
website or by clicking on the donate link below.

| Call for Submissions |
 |
|
If you would like to contribute to this newsletter
please send articles to cmmdtp@gmail.com
. Of course there is no pay offered for articles
you submit, but you would have the satisfaction of
seeing your article in print and sharing your story
with the rest of your classmates from The DHS Class
of 1967.
Here are the type of articles we are looking for:
Bios - Send a recent picture of yourself and
a few paragraphs about what you have been up to
since high school. You can visit the bio
page of the DHS Class of 1967 for ideas.
Stories about how Danbury has changed since
graduation. I live in North Carolina and don't get
back to Danbury very often . The last time I was
there I was simply amazed by all of the changes. I'm
sure other classmates who have moved away would
also be interested in reading about the changes to
the area.
Any thing you think would be of interest to your
classmates, go ahead and send it to me. This is your
newsletter, help us to make it a great one!
All submissions will be subject to editing and must be
approved before they are posted.

OK folks...we need to get on the ball! I also happen
to be the webmaster for The Class of 1966 website,
and they are really rocking it! I just launched their
website a few months ago in April, and already they
have 158 e-mail addresses posted on their site!
Our site has been up since January 2004 and we
only have 146 e-mails. The last time I sent this
newsletter out 34 of these e-mail addresses
bounced, so our total is really only 112! Come
on...are we really going to let The Class of 1966
show us up like that?
