Here is a little something I came across about one of our classmates. It's not his whole story, but it will give you an idea about what Tony's been up to.
From 1996 until 2005, Rev. "Tony" Johnson was minister of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Essex County in Orange, New Jersey, a multiracial congregation drawing members from throughout Essex and Hudson Counties. He has also served in parish and community (non-parish) ministries in New York City, New Jersey and metropolitan Los Angeles and is known for his willingness to get out into the streets and know the community in which he is working. One result of this outreach was the institution of an after-school arts program for children in the low-income neighborhood surrounding the Essex County church's meetinghouse in the city of Orange.
