Here's a bit of MISS RHEINGOLD trivia for YOU.

Jinx Falkenburg was the publicity "face" for Rheingold in 1940. In 1941, Rheingold Brewery had their dealers choose their next "Miss Rheingold". In 1942, the contest went public and about 200,000 votes were cast. In 1959, the votes number over 22,000,000! The public chose their last Miss Rheingold, Celeste Yarnell in 1964. The following year, the Miss Rheingold contest ended as it began with the company making their own selection. They chose Sharon Vaughn as Miss Rheingold 1965. The Miss Rheingold Contest is now just another memory!
